Data Analyst

Job Purpose:
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and compiling data from multiple systems to produce accurate reports, dashboards, and presentations that support leadership decision-making. This role leads responses to routine and ad hoc data calls, performs data reconciliation and analysis, supports IT planning efforts, maintains SharePoint resources, and ensures the integrity and usability of programmatic and financial data across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a lead for compiling reports and collecting data in response to routine reports and data calls
• Collect data (i.e. financial assistance data) for various reports, data requests from leadership, and other tasks (e.g. pulling data from GrantSolutions, FBMS, EMIS, USASpending, etc); and compiling the data into useable reports and charts for use in presentations and documents
• Compile technology requestions from teams to compile into an IT Roadmap used to coordinate with other offices for potential IT solutions
• Obtain inputs from Bureaus on requested template updates and coordinate approval of requested changes and update templates
• Prepare special or one-time reports, summaries, or replies to inquiries, selecting relevant information from a variety of sources (i.e. reports, documents, databases, correspondence, etc.)
• Perform data entry into various systems in support of various programmatic and administrative processes (i.e., GrantSolutions)
• Perform analyses and reconciliation of various reports and data sets and produce reports on the outcome of the analysis; and SharePoint site development and maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited College or University
• Must have at least 2 years of related experience.
