Data Analyst

Cross Valley FCU is looking for someone who is interested in analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive business strategies, improve member experience, and enhance operational efficiency. You will work closely with various credit union departments to ensure accurate and timely data extraction, transformation, and visualization of data for informed decision making.

• Work with COO and Data Management team to select, implement and execute a data warehouse.
• Understand, Train, and maintain the warehouse.
• Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources, including internal Core systems and external processors.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools like Crystal Reports, Jaspersoft, Power BI, or Excel to present data in an easily understandable format.
• Create custom reports and data visualizations tailored to specific business needs and requests.
• Build and maintain predictive models to forecast credit union performance, member behavior, and other key metrics.
• Utilize statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to make data-driven predictions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by implementing data quality controls and standards.
• Collaborate with COO and data management team to resolve data quality issues.
• Prepare and present executive-level reports, dashboards, analyses, and presentations to communicate operational performance, improvement initiatives, and strategic recommendation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, accounting, lending, operations, and compliance, to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

Adhere to data security and privacy regulations, ensuring the safe handling and protection of sensitive member information

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in or equivalent experience in data analytics, statistics, mathematics or economics

Experience in data analysis and data visualization tools, excel, Power BI, Tableau

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.

Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques.
