Section I: Deliverables / Outcomes
- Build and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Python (Pandas, PySpark).
- Work with cloud storage and compute to process large datasets reliably.
- Apply ETL/ELT best practices, data quality checks, logging, and error handling.
- Use SQL for data transformations, validation, and profiling.
- Collaborate using Git-based workflows and follow CI/CD practices.
- Design and develop solutions using Microsoft Fabric components such as Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, and Data Engineering.
- Build and optimize Fabric data pipelines for ingesting and curating data from multiple sources (cloud, on‑prem, APIs).
- Create reports and dashboards using Power BI integrated with Fabric data assets.
- Integrate Fabric solutions with Azure and enterprise data services.
- Apply strong data engineering principles to select appropriate integration and modeling patterns.
- Understand source systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, R&D systems) and translate business processes into well‑structured star schema models.
- Partner with business stakeholders to align data solutions with business goals.
- Communicate insights and architecture decisions clearly through data storytelling.
- Leverage GenAI and LLM tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and automation.
- Continuously learn and experiment with new Fabric features, Python libraries, and analytics capabilities.
- Operate as a strong individual contributor, making and justifying technical decisions independently.
- Other Duties as assigned.
- On-Site work required.
Section II: Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools with Python, SQL and similar programming language.
- Must have worked in Azure cloud environment with tools such as Fabric, Power Bi.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, curious and able to manage time and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

- Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking level and unleveled surfaces for periodic periods throughout the day including flooded rice fields. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. Must be able to lift 50-pound bag of seed. - Work and training locations may include office and warehouse environments. May also include dry, muddy, or flooded fields, and other outside environmental situations including extreme heat/cold, rainy or sunny conditions.
