Job Title for the new hire: Data Analyst
Job Description:
In this role, you will turn sustainability and construction data into clear insights that help us reduce carbon emissions and improve environmental performance across our new build portfolio. You will collect, validate, and manage site-level data, including embodied carbon, energy use, waste, and water metrics build and maintain dashboards and reports to support monthly, quarterly, and annual sustainability tracking, and support financial and carbon savings analyses for initiatives such as solar, low-carbon materials, and carbon reporting. You will also automate recurring reporting tasks to improve team efficiency and work closely with Design & Construction and the data teams to ensure data accuracy. The ideal candidate has experience in data analysis and reporting, proficiency in data and dashboard tools, AI tools, data automation and code writing strong attention to detail, and the ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders with an interest in sustainability or construction being a plus.

Expected deliverables:
- Data Management
1. Maintain and update site-level sustainability data (embodied carbon, energy, waste, water) across Smartsheet, Asana and QuickSight.
2. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all active new build projects.
- Data Automation
1. Automate recurring data workflows within existing reporting tools.
2. Reduce manual data entry and improve timeliness of reporting outputs.
- Data Analysis, Input & Reporting
1. Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual sustainability reports (MBR, QBR, carbon footprint, flash reports)
2. Maintain portfolio-level dashboards and scorecards for cross-functional visibility.
Required qualifications/certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or related discipline) with hands-on experience in data analysis
- 2–4 years of experience in data management, analysis, reporting, or a related engineering fields.
- Proficiency in data and BI tools with experience building and maintaining dashboards, data sheets.
- Strong coding and scripting skills ability to write and maintain scripts for data processing, automation, and reporting (Python, SQL, or equivalent)
Software / programs / tools: Power BI, SQL, python, smartsheet, Tableau, Microsoft Office Suite, QuickSight Required Years of Experience: 2-4
