Duties
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using tools such as R, Python, SQL, and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other BI tools to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Design and implement database solutions utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and database design principles to support efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies to deliver projects on time while adhering to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
- Conduct business analysis by understanding organizational needs, translating them into technical requirements, and providing strategic insights.
- Support project management efforts by tracking progress, managing timelines, and coordinating tasks across teams.
- Explore linked data sources and utilize tools like Talend and VBA for automation and data integration tasks to streamline workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data analysis with strong skills in SQL querying, analysis techniques, and statistical methods.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R and Python for data manipulation and modeling.
- Hands-on experience with BI visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
- Knowledge of ETL processes, database design principles, and familiarity with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Understanding of SDLC frameworks and Agile project management methodologies.
- Ability to perform business analysis by translating complex data into meaningful insights that support decision-making.
- Experience working with linked data sources and integrating diverse datasets using Talend or Bash (Unix shell scripting).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
