The
Data Analyst
is responsible for analyzing large datasets, identifying trends and anomalies, and generating data-driven insights to support investigations, risk assessment, compliance, and business decision-making. The role focuses on data validation, reporting, dashboard development, and supporting fraud detection and operational improvement initiatives through advanced analytics techniques.
Responsibilities:

Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and irregularities.

Develop dashboards and reports using Excel, SQL, and Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.

Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of information.

Conduct analytical reviews of transactions, system logs, and operational records.

Support investigations and internal audit activities through data analysis and reporting.

Monitor data patterns and provide insights related to operational risks and control gaps.

Collaborate with Internal Audit, IT, Finance, HR, and Operations teams to gather and validate data.

Prepare structured analytical reports and presentations for management review.

Support automation and continuous monitoring initiatives to improve reporting efficiency.

Ensure compliance with data confidentiality, governance, and information security requirements.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or analytics-related roles.
Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power BI.

Knowledge of data visualization, reporting tools, and data analytics techniques.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
