Data Product Analyst

Pay: $40-$45

Hybrid : 2-3 days onsite. Office in Greenwood Village, CO

W2 Long Term Contract. 18-24 Months. Possibility of extension or conversion to FTE

Overview

Our Fortune 75 MSO client is seeking a Data Product Analyst to join their Self-Support Insights team. This role supports all features on the customer-facing billing portals (web and mobile) and sits within a verticalized pod focused on Account Support, Onboarding, and Platform.

This is a backfill of an existing contributor, and the team is currently in a period of transition — making this a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact. In the near term, the role will lean heavily on tagging and stakeholder coordination work, with a path toward increased Tableau development and insights delivery as the team grows.

You'll work cross-functionally with full-stack teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to manage business processes, systems, analytics, and reporting. The Data Product Analyst plays a critical role in driving operational excellence and enabling better decisions for the team and organization.

What You'll Do

Tagging & Data Architecture (~30%)

• Codify business requirements into technical tagging requirements
• Build and maintain data tags to optimize features within the billing platform
• Define and track new metrics to gauge app health and user experience
• Triage data issues on the platform and escalate upstream as appropriate
• Support data strategy for A/B testing and experimentation frameworks

Stakeholder Management & Project Coordination (~30-50%)

• Act as a primary point of contact between the data pod and business stakeholders (Caroline Corley / Platform, Lori Lipscomb / ASO, and others)
• Gather requirements from meetings and translate into tickets and team notes
• Lead ongoing reviews of roadmaps and requirements; develop optimization strategies
• Proactively communicate findings, flag anomalies, and surface areas for improvement
• Provide training on data tools and internal data solutions to stakeholders

Analysis & Reporting (~20-40%, growing over time)

• Perform ad-hoc data pulls using SQL (Hive/Athena) and proprietary tools
• Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize Tableau dashboards
• Present insights via Tableau, PowerPoint, and direct stakeholder communication
• Ensure data integrity throughout product feature releases via pre/post-launch testing
• Create and maintain documentation on reporting requirements and metric definitions

Required Skills

• Strong SQL proficiency — able to write, interpret, and optimize complex queries
• Experience building and troubleshooting Tableau dashboards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive timely deliverables
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits

Nice to Have

• Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager experience (highly valued)
• Familiarity with Elastic Search, Kibana, or OpenSearch
• Exposure to YAML, AWS, GitLab, or Spark
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks or experimentation data design
• Background in data engineering or familiarity with ETL pipelines
