Data Analyst – Business Intelligence

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Data Analyst – Business Intelligence with 6–8 years of experience in data visualization, BI reporting, and advanced analytics. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Power BI, Tableau, and SQL, with exposure to machine learning techniques to transform data into actionable insights and predictive solutions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, insightful, and data-driven reports that support strategic decision-making.

Job description: -

• Gather, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, Excel, cloud platforms).
• Design, develop, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI and Tableau.
• Translate business requirements into meaningful insights, KPIs, and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Build, maintain, and automate scalable data models with a focus on performance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Business Teams to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Use SQL for data extraction, transformation, and advanced analysis across relational and non-relational systems.
• Apply basic machine learning techniques such as classification, regression, clustering, and predictive modeling to enhance business insights.
• Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, confidentiality, and security standards in line with the company’s ISO and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated with BI, analytics, and ML trends to drive improvements in reporting and predictive analytics.

Job Specification and Technical Requirements: -

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of proven experience in data analysis and business intelligence.
• Mandatory expertise in Power BI and Tableau (report development, data modeling, DAX, custom visuals, performance tuning).
• Strong proficiency in SQL (query optimization, joins, stored procedures).
• Hands-on experience with Excel (advanced), ETL concepts, and basic Python/R for data analysis and ML implementation.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, data preprocessing, and model evaluation.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience working in fintech, financial services, or data-driven technology environments (preferred).
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and A/B testing (preferred).
• Exposure to Agile methodology and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Immediate joiners preferred.
