The Cleveland Browns and Legends have an expansive partnership to support all aspects of the New Huntington Bank Field project including market analysis, product design and development, data and analytics strategy, and holistic revenue generation across partnerships, ticketing and suites sales. Legends is proud to support and represent the Browns during this historic moment in Northeast Ohio.

THE ROLE

The Data Analyst will work as a member of the Data & Analytics team to help drive data strategy and actionable insights throughout the project. With a focus on research, reporting, predictive modeling, customer segmentation, lookalike audiences and lead scoring, this role will be touching projects on strategic planning and decision making as it relates to the overall New Stadium Project, Ticketing, Marketing and Corporate Partnerships.

Essential Dutes And Responsibilities

  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical and predictive analytics techniques.
  • Provide ongoing reports based on data analysis.
  • Create and develop reports, data visualizations, and automated dashboards.
  • Conduct research, analysis and produce predictive data models used for sponsorship pitches and ticketing leads.
  • Summarize results of research and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work in a cross-functional environment with various business groups.
  • Collaborate with users across the organization to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify, document, and communicate business processes.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Support ad hoc special projects as required or necessary.

  • Educational background in business, analytics, or a related field: A degree in statistics, business analytics, economics, computer sciences or a similar discipline is often preferred to support analytical and strategic responsibilities.
  • Experience with data tools and platforms: Hands-on experience with visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel, and statistical software like R, Python, and/or SAS to support data analysis and reporting.
  • Track record of cross-functional collaboration: Demonstrated success working with diverse teams across departments to achieve shared goals and drive integrated initiatives.
  • Proven experience in process optimization or operational efficiency: Prior roles that involved identifying inefficiencies, streamlining workflows, and implementing improvements that led to measurable outcomes.
  • Strong portfolio of presentations or dashboards: Examples of past work that showcase the ability to tell compelling stories through data, including visual design and executive-level reporting.

Education And/Or Experience

  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Business preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in analytics, business intelligence or data science role, preferably in the professional sports or collegiate athletics industry
  • Experience working with data visualization software (such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and generating insights from large datasets using statistical and predictive analytics platforms (Python, Excel, SAS, R, etc.)
  • Experience writing queries and extracting data from a database (SQL)

Skills And Abilities

  • Strong statistical analysis skills: Ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and draw actionable insights using statistical methods such as regression, correlation and hypothesis testing, including cluster modeling concepts.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and dashboard creation: Skilled in tools like Tableau, Power BI, and/or Excel to create intuitive dashboards and translate raw data into visual stories that support decision-making.
  • Familiarity with prospect modeling and lookalike audience generation, including: lead scoring, sponsorship prospecting and pipeline management concepts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills: Able to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to various audiences, with strong presentation skills for executive-level reporting and team updates.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments: Comfortable navigating cross-functional environments, building consensus, and aligning goals across teams like marketing, finance, partnerships, sales and operations.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills: Effective at managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize tasks based on business impact and urgency.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement: Continuously seeks ways to optimize workflows and improve efficiency by using data to identify bottlenecks and recommend enhancements.
