Reports To: Data Analytics Manager Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with deep expertise in the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) , MySQL query optimization , and big data analysis . This role requires a strong analytical mindset and technical skills to handle complex datasets, develop data pipelines, and drive insights that support strategic business decisions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to lead data-driven initiatives and ensure our data infrastructure and reporting capabilities are scalable, reliable, and insightful. Key Responsibilities:

• Aggregate and transform structured and unstructured data from various sources including logs, databases, and APIs.
• Design and manage robust data pipelines using Logstash and other ETL tools to feed into Elasticsearch.
• Build and maintain Kibana dashboards for real-time visualization and analytics.
• Analyze large-scale datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
• Write and optimize complex MySQL queries to support deep-dive analysis and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and analytical goals aligned with business strategy.
• Support development of machine learning models or predictive analytics where applicable.
• Document processes, pipelines, and findings for knowledge sharing and reproducibility.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to data governance and quality initiatives.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar technical role.
• Proven experience working with the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) in a production environment.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, especially with MySQL optimization for large and complex queries.
• Experience in Python or R for data analysis and scripting.
• Strong foundation in data modeling, ETL pipelines, and data warehousing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, especially their data and log services is preferred
• Knowledge of machine learning, predictive modeling
