Job Title - Data analyst (emarati talent)

Location - Dubai

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI , including data modeling, dashboard development, and advanced DAX functions.
• Skilled in SQL and Power Query for data extraction, cleaning, and transformation.
• Knowledge of data schemas (Star and Snowflake) and performance optimization techniques.
• Understanding of data governance , data accuracy , and quality management .
• Experience with R or Python integration in Power BI for statistical or predictive analytics (preferred).
• Strong analytical and statistical thinking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage data gateways, connections, and user access securely.
• Continuous learning mindset and ability to adapt to evolving data analysis tools and techniques.

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and preprocess data from multiple internal and external sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis using Power Query and SQL.
• Build and optimize data models in Power BI for accurate and efficient reporting.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports with DAX calculations for KPIs, rankings, and trend analysis.
• Deploy analytical models and collaborate with technical teams to integrate insights into business systems.
• Monitor and ensure data accuracy, identify inconsistencies, and implement data quality controls.
• Communicate complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to business stakeholders.
• Manage Power BI administration tasks, including gateway updates, data connections, and access control.
• Ensure secure and efficient data transfer between on-premises and cloud data sources.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in Power BI and data analytics tools, contributing to process improvements and innovation.
