The Opportunity
The Data Analyst supports the organization by analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and developing reports that help leadership make informed business decisions. This role focuses primarily on sales and operational data analysis, helping the company better understand order patterns, customer demand, and future business needs.

In addition to data analytics responsibilities, the role may also assist with basic inventory tracking and coordination to help ensure inventory levels align with customer orders and production needs.
This position works collaboratively with teams across sales, operations, procurement, and warehouse functions to support efficient order fulfillment and operational planning.

What You’ll Lead
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze sales orders, historical sales data, and customer demand trends.
  • Identify patterns, seasonality, and emerging trends that may impact future orders.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide visibility into sales performance and order activity.
  • Provide data driven insights to leadership to support strategic planning and operational decisions.
Sales & Demand Insights
  • Evaluate order trends and customer demand patterns to inform planning and forecasting activities using available data.
  • Monitor changes in order volumes and highlight potential opportunities or risks or shifts in demand.

Inventory Coordination

  • Monitor and analyze inventory trends to ensure alignment between inventory levels, sales demand, and production requirements.
  • Identify potential inventory shortages or inefficiencies and recommend appropriate adjustments in coordination with operations.
Process Improvement
  • Exercise independent judgment in analyzing data and turn findings into practical business recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, reporting workflows, and analysis methods.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience:
  • 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics or operational reporting.
  • Relevant industry experience in food manufacturing, CPG, or logistics environments preferred but not required.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
Work Environment
This position operates in both office and manufacturing environments within a food production facility. The role involves computer-based analytical work as well as periodic visits to warehouse and production areas to review inventory levels and coordinate with operations teams. The manufacturing environment may include exposure to moderate noise, food processing equipment, forklifts, and refrigerated storage areas. Employees must comply with all food safety, sanitation, and safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering production areas.

Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods while performing computer-based work, communicate with cross-functional teams, and occasionally stand or walk through warehouse and production areas. The position may require bending, reaching, or lifting items up to approximately 20–30 pounds occasionally and working in environments with varying temperatures, including refrigerated areas.
