Description:

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst (Power BI) to transform complex data into meaningful business insights through advanced analytics, interactive dashboards, and data modeling. The role focuses on enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization by bridging business needs with scalable analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic data partner, not just a report builder.


Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis, Dashboard & Report Development

  • Collect, clean, and transform data from multiple internal and external sources
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
  • Build efficient data models and implement best practices in visualization and storytelling
  • Ensure accuracy, performance, and usability of dashboards and reports

2. Business Insights & Analytics

  • Translate business requirements into analytical and reporting solutions
  • Analyze trends, patterns, and performance metrics to generate actionable insights
  • Track KPIs and develop performance monitoring frameworks
  • Provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making

3. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Act as a data partner for business units (Sales, Finance, Operations, etc.)
  • Gather and refine reporting requirements from stakeholders
  • Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Provide training and support for end users on dashboards and reports

4. Data Engineering, Modeling & Governance

  • Develop and maintain robust data models using best practices (star schema, etc.)
  • Work with ELT/ETL processes and ensure data pipeline integrity
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across datasets
  • Manage dataset refresh schedules, access permissions, and governance policies
  • Document data sources, logic, and report definitions

5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to improve existing reports, KPIs, and dashboards
  • Propose new analytical use cases and automation opportunities
  • Enhance overall data maturity within the organization
  • Promote data storytelling and self-service BI adoption

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, or related roles
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI
  • Hands-on expertise in DAX and Power Query
  • Experience in data modeling and ELT/ETL processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, PivotTables, analysis tools)
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, metrics, and business performance analysis
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to simplify complex data into clear business insights
  • Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing and data security concepts
  • Experience in cross-functional or international environments
  • Strong visualization and data storytelling capabilities
  • Exposure to enterprise BI environments and large datasets
