Data Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support the Madinaty SuperApp initiative. The role involves transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across multiple city services and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis & Insights

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Develop dashboards and reports to support business and operational decisions
• Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions

2. Data Visualization & Reporting

• Design and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI (Preferred), Tableau)
• Present insights to stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner
• Automate reporting processes for efficiency and consistency

3. Data Management & Quality

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and transformation
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines

4. Business Collaboration

• Work closely with product, operations, and technical teams
• Support KPI definition, tracking, and performance monitoring
• Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and data querying
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
• Knowledge of Excel and statistical analysis techniques
• Familiarity with Python
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and storytelling ability
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Smart City, SuperApp, or digital platform environments
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
