Data Analyst – Power BI & AI Tools

Role Summary

Junior-to-mid data analyst supporting CHG's reporting and analytics function. Primary tools are Power BI and Claude AI. The role is hands-on and output-focused: build dashboards, run analyses, and use AI tools to work faster and smarter.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards tracking patient volumes, revenue, specialty performance, referral patterns, and operational KPIs

- Connect Power BI to data sources: Excel files, SQL databases, HIS exports, and billing system outputs

- Write DAX measures and basic Power Query transformations to clean and model data

- Use Claude and other AI tools daily to accelerate data tasks: drafting analysis narratives, cleaning datasets, generating formulas, summarizing reports, and structuring outputs

- Write clear, effective prompts to get reliable, structured outputs from LLMs — and iterate when results are off

- Produce weekly and monthly KPI packs for department heads and senior management

- Handle ad hoc data requests: slice and filter data by site, specialty, doctor, payor, or time period

- Flag data quality issues and work with source system owners to resolve them

Required Qualifications

- 1-2 years experience in a data analyst or reporting role

- Hands-on Power BI: can build a dashboard from scratch, write DAX, and connect to multiple data sources

- Comfortable with Excel at an advanced level (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, Power Query)

- Active user of Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools — uses them to get work done, not just experiment

- Basic SQL or willingness to learn quickly

- Arabic fluency required; working English required

Preferred Qualifications

- Healthcare or hospital sector experience

- Familiarity with HIS platforms

- Exposure to Python or any scripting for data tasks
