Data Analyst/ Power BI Specialist

Gerab Systems Solutions is hiring a Data Analyst/ Power BI Specialist who will be responsible for leveraging data analytics tools to derive insights from enterprise application data, create visually compelling reports and dashboards, and engage with clients to understand their data needs. This role plays a critical part in optimizing business processes, enhancing decision-making, and ensuring the successful delivery of data solutions.

Data Analysis & Visualization

• Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources (databases, spreadsheets, APIs) to prepare for analysis.
• Develop interactive and insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business intelligence needs.
• Analyze trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights.

Client Engagement & Requirements Gathering

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding data-related inquiries and solutions.
• Conduct needs assessments and gather requirements to develop tailored analytics solutions.
• Present findings and insights to clients, translating complex data into understandable formats.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

• Work closely with IT teams, business analysts, and project managers to ensure data solutions meet client specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify data gaps.
• Provide training and support to clients and team members on Power BI functionalities.

Data Governance & Quality Assurance

• Implement data governance practices to ensure data integrity and quality across applications.
• Monitor data quality metrics and troubleshoot data discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, data transformations, and report
• specifications.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and Power BI.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in data reporting.
• Experiment with new features and functionalities in Power BI to enhance reporting capabilities.

Knowledge:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Applications or Any Discipline.
• Preferably certified in Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300)
• Demonstrates Expertise in designing and building scalable Power BI solutions.
• Experience working across different domains and being able to adapt to diverse client requirements quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in similar roles (e.g., BI Analyst, Reporting
• Analyst).
• Experience working with large datasets and managing end-to-end data processes.
• Exposure to multiple data sources (databases, cloud platforms, etc.).

Skills:

• Has strong technical expertise in SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and ETL tools.
• Excels at analysing data trends and converting them into business insights.
• Communicates complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Works well with cross-functional teams and adapts to changing requirements.
• Possesses client engagement experience and can align deliverables with business outcomes.
