Data Analyst Senior - Commercial Lines

As a data analyst senior on the Agency Operations Analytics team, you'll serve as a strategic partner to our sales, product, and process teams by transforming data into insights that influence and advance our Commercial Lines Strategy. In this role you will become the subject matter expert for commercial analytics and reporting.

You'll work cross functionally to analyze complex commercial data, identify meaningful trends, and uncover opportunities that drive business outcomes. In this role, you'll facilitate discussions with business leaders, translate analytical findings into clear recommendations, and help shape decisions that strengthen sales performance and operational effectiveness. You'll further collaborate with stakeholders on commercial reporting needs, designing dashboards and reports supporting business objectives, ensuring data accuracy, and providing actionable insights that empower decision-making and drive measurable results. This is a high impact role for someone who can both build strong analytical tools and influence strategy through data-driven storytelling.

This is a remote position, with occasional travel to Cleveland for meetings and/or training.

Must-have qualifications
  • A minimum of six years of analytical work experience.
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience.
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years analytical work experience.

Preferred skills
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., SAS, SQL, Snowflake) and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts, graphing, and macros.
  • Working knowledge of GitHub.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to research data, recognize patterns, and use critical thinking to solve problems.
  • Strong communication skills, including presenting insights effectively to diverse teams.

Compensation
  • $81,400-$108,500/year, depending on experience.
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
