Data Analysts with Data Modeling (On-Prem & Cloud)

The candidate will analyze, model and optimize data across on-premise and cloud databases, collaborate with business stakeholders, and enable actionable insights through well-structured data solutions.

Job Title: Data Analyst

Work Location: Abu Dhabi

Experience Required: 5+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret large datasets to generate actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Design, develop and maintain conceptual and physical data model for both on-premise and cloud database environments.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects and Business analysts to ensure proper implementation of data models in data warehouses, lakes, or marts.
• Map business requirements to data sources and identify data gaps or redundancies.
• Perform data profiling, validation and quality assessments.
• Support ETL/ELT processes and integration of multiple data sources
• Document data definitions, lineage and metadata to ensure consistencies and governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and data modeling.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, profiling and validation.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling tools and exposure to on-premise databases and Cloud databases.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines and cloud data platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of data governance, cataloging or lineage tools.
• Experience in cloud data migration or hybrid data environments.
• Understanding of business domain data models.
