Data Analytics Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled BI Engineer to join our Data Management team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipelines, integrations, and reporting solutions. You will work closely with SAP modules, SAP BDC Data Warehouse, and modern platforms like SAP Datasphere and Databricks to ensure reliable data flow and insightful analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimize ETL processes to integrate data from SAP modules into SAP BDC Data Warehouse, SAP Datasphere, and Databricks.
• Develop and maintain data models that support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all reporting layers.
• Implement best practices for data integration, performance tuning, and automation.
• Support ad-hoc data analysis and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with SAP modules and SAP BDC Data Warehouse.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP Datasphere and Databricks.
• Proficiency in Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for visualization.
• Solid knowledge of SQL for querying and data manipulation.
• Experience with Python for data processing, automation, and advanced analytics.
• Proven track record in ETL development, data integration, and system interoperability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and security best practices.
• Knowledge of machine learning basics for advanced analytics is a plus
