Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Google Analytics Specialist to join our Data Science Team. In this role, you will manage our web tracking and analytics reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in JavaScript, a proven track record of implementing advanced Google Analytics event tracking, and expertise in leveraging data to drive business growth. This role is critical in ensuring accurate data collection, generating actionable insights, and optimizing our online presence.
Scope of Work:
- Develop and implement advanced Google Analytics event tracking strategies to capture detailed user interactions and behavior on our B2B e-commerce platform.
- Configure and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) to ensure accurate and efficient tracking of events, tags, and data collection.
- Design, build, and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Looker Studio to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Utilize strong JavaScript skills to implement custom tracking solutions, manipulate data layer information, and enhance data collection capabilities within GTM and Google Analytics.
- Assess and optimize existing Google Analytics tracking setups, including events, tags, and data collection strategies, to improve data accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct rigorous testing (unit and end-to-end) to ensure data integrity and efficient tracking performance.
- Document technical setups and provide clear guidelines for future enhancements and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Operations) to ensure seamless data flow across systems and alignment of tracking with business goals.
- Leverage BigQuery to process, query, and structure large-scale analytics data for in-depth business analysis.
- Pull and transform Google Analytics data from BigQuery into the enterprise data warehouse for centralized reporting and analytics.
- Monitor key performance metrics, ensuring tracking systems continuously align with evolving business KPIs.
Qualifications
- Over 3 years of professional experience in a similar role, with a focus on Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and data visualization.
- Expertise in Google Platform tools, including Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, BigQuery, and Google Search Console.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript for implementing custom tracking solutions and manipulating data.
- Proven ability to set up and manage advanced Google Analytics event tracking.
- Proficiency in Looker Studio and Tableau for analysis and visualization.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce analytics, digital marketing metrics, and website tracking.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data in a clear and concise manner.

Pay: E£42,022.08 - E£47,274.84 per month
