Data Analytics Intern

MANTECH seeks a Data Analytics Intern to support the Combat Analytics Center (CAC) through the conduct of Data Analytics functions, including system development and dashboarding.

This internship will be on-site in support of our Combat Analytics Center facility in Stafford, VA.

This position requires a U.S. Citizen with an active US Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Receive weekly tasking in support of data analytics tasks related to the CAC
• Support Facility Director in building a data analytics and visualization system
• Support the CAC with statistical analysis of sports science and cognitive testing data
• Ensure products/deliverables meet quality standards and compliance with CAC policies and processes - Work independently or in a collaborative environment on tasks
• On-site workshop meetings; with the potential for a limited number of off-site workshop meetings

Required Qualifications:

• Current full-time student pursuing a BS/MS in Data Analytics, Data Science or a related field with a projected graduation date no later than May 2027
• Professional or project experience in Data Analytics
• 2 years of strong academic experience with data visualization using tools like Power BI
• 2 years of strong academic experience with statistical analysis skills using SPSS, SAS, R or related tools
• Excellent communication skills and evidence of completion of professional products and deliverables - Interest in government contracting work

Clearance Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen with an active US Security Clearance or eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
