Data Architect (Intermediate)

Minimum Qualifications a. Academic i. A bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, or other related field. b. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities i. Must be highly skilled in leading data cleanup. ii. iii. iv. v. vi. vii. viii. ix. x. xi. xii. xiii. xiv. xv. Must be highly skilled in providing expert oversight to make complex data accessible. Must be highly skilled in creating application governance, permissions, and security protocols, with an emphasis on Power BI. Must be highly skilled in enterprise data design. Must be highly skilled in integrating applications into a Microsoft environment. Must be highly skilled in architectural standards. Must be able to provide clear and effective training. Must be highly self-motivated and directed. Must have strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to adapt messaging to a variety of stakeholders. Must have keen attention to detail. Ability to build partnerships and collaborate across individuals and project teams. Ability to work in a dynamic, changing environment and effectively under pressure. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks. Ability to present ideas and multitask in an organized and highly efficient manner. c. Experience i. A minimum of seven (7) years of experience with large and complex database management systems, including providing expert oversight. State of Florida Financial Systems, HR and Administration Systems; Experience with APD systems to include: CDC+, NG-QSI, FRS, Resource Directory, HRTS (Preferred but not required). a. Coordinating with IT EDW teams to make complex data accessible for dashboard consumption.

Five (5) years of data cleanup experience. a. Leading business analysis for data acquisition and implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to sanitize disjoined information. iii. iv. v. Five (5) years of experience in enterprise data design. a. Balancing data access optimization within Power BI against batch loading and resource utilization. Five (5) years of experience in architectural standards. a. Defining nomenclature and policies to ensure the environment complies with accepted data content standards. Five (5) years of experience integrating Power BI with Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, SQL/Oracle databases, SharePoint, Salesforce, Google Analytics, APIs, custom connectors, and websites. d. Certifications i. Power BI certification. e. General i. Experience with Office automation and productivity tools: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Visio, and Word. ii. iii. Native connectors: Experience integrating Power BI with Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, SQL/Oracle databases, SharePoint, Salesforce, Google Analytics, APIs, custom connectors, and websites. Communication: Team-oriented professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Toastmasters strongly preferred.
