Job Summary

As an Architect with expertise in DBT Admin whose primarily responsible for the operational support maintenance and configuration of the dbt environment and its associated data pipelines ensuring data integrity security and availability for analytics and reporting. Also should have knowledge on Snowflake Admin & Azure Admin to ensure smooth operation performance and integrity of the organizations data transformation workflows within the data warehouse/platform

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and operational support across multiple environments (development QA UAT production) ensuring consistency and readiness.
• Create and manage user accounts roles and permissions within dbt Cloud or Core ensuring compliance with data governance and security policies.
• Manage code migration and schema updates across environments integrating with version control systems like Git and ensuring change management processes are followed.
• Configure schedule and monitor dbt jobs and runs troubleshoot execution issues and set up alerts for performance or failure issues.
• Monitor system-level parameters (CPU memory query performance) and work with data teams to optimize inefficient queries or models.
• Provide technical support to end-users and development teams performing root cause analysis for production incidents and data quality issues.
• Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Oversee Snowflake database administration ensuring data security and efficient data processing.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-based applications and services.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime.
• Develop and enforce best practices for cloud resource management and cost optimization.
• Conduct regular audits of cloud systems to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Lead initiatives to improve data integration and analytics capabilities within the organization.
• Support strategic projects by providing expertise in cloud architecture and administration.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate proficiency in Azure administration showcasing ability to manage complex cloud environments.
• Exhibit strong experience in Snowflake administration ensuring efficient data handling and security.
• Possess expertise in DBT Cloud enabling effective data transformation and workflow management.
• Have a solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices.
• Show ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office tasks.
• Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical operations.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
