Data Cabling Engineer

We are looking for structured cabling technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting structured cabling systems, ensuring efficient communication infrastructure in various environments.

Key Responsibilities

Installation: Install various types of cabling, including Cat5e, Cat6, through walls, ceilings, and floors.

Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of cabling systems to ensure ongoing reliability and performance.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to connectivity, signal loss, and other network problems.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of installations, test results, and any issues encountered and resolved.

Collaboration: Work with architects, engineers, and IT staff to design and implement cabling systems that meet organizational needs

Technical Skills: Familiarity with different types of network cabling and structured cabling systems, as well as the ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.

Experience: Relevant experience in telecommunications or network cabling is beneficial. On-the-job training is common, often under the supervision of a senior technician.

Soft Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, critical thinking, and customer service skills are essential for success in this role
