We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Data Center Engineer/Specialist who is responsible for the deployment, management, and maintenance of data center infrastructure, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and compliance with industry standards. This role involves hands-on work with servers, storage, networking, and facility systems to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and networking devices in the data center.
  • Monitor and manage data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and environmental controls.
  • Perform capacity planning and implement upgrades to support business growth.
  • Manage and maintain backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of data center systems (uptime, redundancy, failover).
  • Implement and monitor security policies for physical and logical access.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with IT, network, and security teams to support enterprise applications.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
  • Participate in data center audits, compliance checks, and maintenance schedules.
  • Support migration, virtualization, and cloud integration projects as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of UAE experience in a similar presales or solution engineering role in the IT industry.
  • Driving License is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Data Center Engineer, Specialist, or Systems Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure management (DCIM, UPS, generators, cooling, and cabling).
  • Familiarity with operating systems: Windows Server, Linux, Unix.
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, switches, and routers.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex IT systems under pressure.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
