Data Center Quality Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience working in computing hardware quality, product engineering, test engineering, or electronic hardware systems issue resolution.
Experience performing root cause failure analysis or process improvements in a data center, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
Experience working with reliability and quality test data or manufacturing execution systems.
Experience in data analysis and visualization using SQL, JMP, or Python.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials or other relevant engineering discipline.
5 years of experience in quality, manufacturing or product engineering of cloud hardware technology or electronic hardware systems.
Experience with advanced statistical or statistics based methodologies (e.g., design of experiments, statistical process controls, six sigma, etc.).
Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams using a practical and solution-oriented approach.
Experience in technical leadership, project management, and executive communication.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects, lead cross-team initiatives, and identify/implement process improvements for the organization.
Provide technical leadership, set priorities, complete root cause analysis, and drive resolution of technical issues for robust product quality and predictable field deployment.
Initiate, drive, and implement innovative product, process, tools development/improvement projects, separately and in a cross-functional environment.
Monitor, review and present product performance data and metrics to stakeholders in a concise and clear way that enables data-driven decision making.
Travel up to 20% of the time as needed.
