Data Center Solutions Engineer - White Space

As part of our continued investment in next generation data center technologies, Eaton is expanding its capabilities to support advanced, future ready architectures across both white space (IT halls) and grey space (electrical and mechanical infrastructure).

Within this segment, Eaton has an opening for a Data Center Solutions Engineer – White Space. This position plays a critical role in defining, shaping, and delivering advanced data center architectures where standard reference designs may not yet exist. This role sits at the intersection of innovation, applied engineering, and customer engagement. It will be supporting hyperscale, co-location, and EPC partners from early concept through solution definition.

POSITION CRITERIA:

• Strong understanding of power system architectures, redundancy concepts, and integration between electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with UPS systems, MV/LV distribution, energy storage, and critical power infrastructure.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and conceptual design workshops with customers.
• Familiarity with BIM, digital engineering workflows, and modern data center design tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Customer focused mindset with the ability to act as a trusted technical advisor.
