Data Center Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the data centre infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a strong understanding of computer networking, hardware, and telecommunications systems. The Data Center Technician will work closely with other IT professionals to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions effectively.

Duties

• Hands & Eyes Services

• Installation and Removal of IT equipment

• Basic troubleshooting and repair of IT equipment failures

• Basic device configuration and OS Loads

Inventory Management Services

• Inventory Management Tracking

• Shipping/Receiving and Loading Dock

• Equipment Destruction

Media Administration Services

• Physical Media Activities

• Media Library Services

• Physical Media Audits

Cabling

• Cable Installation and Planning

• Cable Disconnect and removal

• Cable troubleshooting and repair

General Services

• Escorting of vendors and customers

• Internal & External Audit Support

• Documentation and Reporting.

• Basic data center planning.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $24.22 - $29.17 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Data center: 2 years (Preferred)
• Cabling: 3 years (Preferred)
