Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Install and connect devices in server racksusing copper, power, and fiber (LC-LC, AOC-MTP, AOC-AOC) while following structured cabling best practices.

Transport, unload, and position server racksthroughout the hyperscale data center according to specific procedures.

Perform Smart Hands work, including fiber and copper patching, troubleshooting, testing, and routing cables while climbing ladders as needed.

Tech 3: all above requirements plus a minimum of2 years ofhyperscale data centerlow voltageinstallation experience:

Install devices and cabling into empty server racksusing copper, power,fiberand other connection types with no supervision.

Patch in fiber and copper cables from network racks to serverswith no supervision
-
Able toterminatea jack, pull cable and “work a 90” proficiently withno supervision
-
Can install,terminate, and test structured cabling systems for CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber optic, and coaxial cables withno supervision

Ability to build out MDF and IDF closets including racks, patch panels, wire management systems, and network hardware withno supervision

Professional workingproficiencyin English

Pay Rate:
Tech 1: $20.00 - $22.00/hour
Tech 2: $21.00 - $24.00/hour
Tech 3: $23.00 - $28.00/hour
