We’re hiring Data Center Optical Engineers to support large-scale hyperscale data center environments across the U.S. This is a hands-on, onsite role focused on optical transport, fiber cabling, and critical infrastructure support.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Break-fix and troubleshooting of data center optical & network equipment
- Remote hands support following MOPs and engineering documentation
- Installing, routing, labeling, terminating, and testing fiber & Ethernet cabling
- Optical testing using OTDR, power meters, VFL, iPerf, RFC2544, Y.1564
- Racking, stacking, and organizing servers, switches, and transport hardware
- Hardware replacement, decommissioning, and site audits
- Supporting AC/DC power, redundant feeds, and ATS
- Coordinating with internal teams and overseeing third-party vendors onsite.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of data center or field engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with fiber optics & IP transport
- Experience with single-mode & multi-mode fiber, CAT5/CAT6 cabling
- Familiarity with MOPs, engineering diagrams, and structured environments
- Comfortable working in data halls, lifting equipment, and working at heights
- Willingness to support night/weekend shifts as needed
Nice to Have
- Hyperscale or large enterprise data center experience
- 100G circuit testing experience
- Team lead or senior technician background
- Strong customer-facing communication skill

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
