Job Opportunity: Power Technician - Data Centers
We are looking for a skilled Power Technician to oversee operations and maintenance of data centers and access networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage operations in both data center and field environments, including access network installations and upgrades.
- Ensure effective installation and troubleshooting of rectifiers, HVAC systems, fire suppression systems (FSS), generators, ATS, and UPS systems.
- Monitor and address L-1 alarms until appropriate backup support is in place.
- Oversee corrective maintenance (CM) and preventive maintenance (PM) activities within data centers and access networks.
- Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical panels and distribution boards (DBs).
- Perform Medtronic’s testing of rectifiers and UPS batteries and ensure detailed reporting.
- Manage new installations, equipment dismantling, site shifts, and cable organization.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, tools, trouble tickets, gate passes, and access logs.
- Prepare and submit fueling, equipment utilization, CM/PM activities, and trouble ticket resolution reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Participate in monthly power drills and create corresponding presentations.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in power systems and HVAC operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and maintenance capabilities.
- Experience in supervising data center operations.
- Expertise in project supervision and team management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or DAE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
