Job Purpose: To lead and manage project planning and scheduling activities across the lifecycle of hyperscale data center construction. The Construction Planner will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and integrating the project schedule in alignment with client requirements, contractor milestones, and company's internal delivery strategy. This role ensures timely and efficient coordination with Microsoft's Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and acts as a central planning interface between the company, vendors, and stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain the master construction schedule using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Interface with Microsoft's IMS team, ensuring full schedule alignment and transparency.
  • Track progress, monitor key milestones, and analyze variances to highlight critical risks or delays.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders (engineering, procurement, construction, and client teams) to integrate all planning inputs.
  • Provide regular schedule updates, forecasts, and what-if analysis to support decision-making.
  • Lead planning workshops with contractors and internal teams.
  • Ensure schedule adherence to contract requirements and support claims avoidance or resolution.
  • Contribute to project reporting including dashboards, progress reports, and executive summaries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Planning certification (e.g., PMI-SP, PSP) is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
  • At least 4 years in hyperscale data center construction or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Primavera P6; experience with Microsoft Project and Power BI is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to work within fast-track, high-complexity environments with international stakeholders.

Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of project planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Strong understanding of EPC delivery models and construction sequencing.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven.
  • Ability to manage and interpret complex data and schedules.
  • Familiarity with data center commissioning milestones and integration with IMS.
