About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in building and managing data pipelines, working with large datasets, and enabling business teams with accurate and timely data insights. You will work closely with analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure that our data infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and supports decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Work with structured and unstructured data across multiple sources.
• Develop and optimize queries in SQL, BigQuery, and Snowflake for analytics and reporting needs.
• Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including BigQuery and Cloud Functions, to manage and scale data workflows.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Looker Studio, Google Sheets, and MS Excel.
• Develop and manage data transformation workflows using dbt.
• Use tools such as AppSheet for workflow automation and lightweight internal applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all platforms.
• Document processes, workflows, and data models for knowledge sharing and consistency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data manipulation, transformation, and automation.
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQuery and Cloud Functions.
• Proficiency with Snowflake as a modern data warehouse.
• Experience using dbt for data modeling and transformations.
• Strong skills in data visualization and reporting tools such as Looker Studio, Google Sheets, and MS Excel.
• Experience with AppSheet or similar tools for workflow automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Familiarity with best practices in data quality, governance, and security.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Exposure to data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation for workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow, Cloud Composer).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and modern data stack tools.

• Immediate joiners are preferred, or candidates with a notice period of 15 days or less.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per month
