Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science
• Advanced academic degree (MS / PhD) typically in a quantitative discipline or related field is a plus,
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience using cloud technologies for data processing, storage and modeling pipelines (Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, AWS S3, etc.)
• Knowledge of general concepts of DevOps (Test, Deploy, Docker, Kubernetes, Build or Yaml scripting) is a plus
• Data warehousing experience (star schema, snowflake schema, scd types etc...)
• Hands on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Mongo, Redis, HBase, Cassandra)
• Familiarity with building data pipelines with unit and integration tests
• Experience with Apache Airflow and DBT
• Familiarity with batch data processing technologies is a plus (Spark, Kafka, Scala, Hive etc.)
• Experience with Git - Designing and developing standard practices within a GitHub environment
• Having experience with vector databases is a plus (FAISS, Milvus, Qdrant)

Your Role

• Identifying, evaluating and implementing data management tools
• Working in the data science team to maintain data processes
• Writing scalable, robust and testable batch and streaming transformations
• Scale data pipelines and databases smoothly in a cost-effective way, assist with making decisions to extend or migrate existing data pipelines
