Data Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join an on-site engineering team in Goregaon, Mumbai. This role is ideal for hands-on engineers who design, build, and operate scalable, production-grade data pipelines and analytical platforms that serve machine learning, BI, and real-time streaming use cases.

### Role & Responsibilities:

• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into effective designs and development specifications.
• Responsible for transforming Data into - > Information -> Knowledge - > Business Decisions
• Delivers data warehouse, data mart and dimensional models for Analytics Centre of Excellence.
• Responsible for streamlining dataflow pipelines across various programs and products.
• Responsible for identifying trends and patterns in data leading to increased effectiveness of digital programs.
• Responsible for Data related documentation and visual communications.
• Design, develop, and support Snowflake services and warehouse.
• Document data processes, pipelines, and data model designs.
• Support and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.

*Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge):*

• 4–6 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including Snowflake SQL, SnowSight, and Snowpipes.
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling (e.g., using Kimball methodology).
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and services (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Exposure to data lake storage and medallion architecture principles (bronze, silver, gold layers).
• Basic understanding of data quality, governance, and version control.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
