Who are we hiring (and what will they do)?

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team.

As a successful Data Engineer, you will design, maintain, and optimize the data systems that power our integrations, analytics, and reporting. You’ll work across multiple internal and external platforms to ensure our data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.

  • Build, maintain, and monitor data pipelines and ETL workflows connecting to various external systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems
  • Support the design and implementation of data models and schemas to improve data organization and reporting
  • Develop and maintain internal data reporting infrastructure to support business intelligence, product, and operations teams
  • Automate recurring data processing and transformation tasks
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to improve data availability and accessibility
  • Troubleshoot integration failures, data discrepancies, and performance issues in pipelines

What skills will help you be effective on our team?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or related roles
  • Strong SQL experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or another relational database)
  • Experience designing and implementing data models and architecture for analytics and reporting
  • Hands-on experience with external API integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Experience building dashboards or reports for internal teams using tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or SQL-based reporting solutions
  • Experience with ETL tools or frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Pentaho, custom Python-based workflows)
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud data ecosystems (AWS, GCP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for data manipulation and automation
  • Understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
  • A high-level of accommodation and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment of constant change and the ability to perform well under pressure and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • The ability to work independently, but also be a strong team player across the organization
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with anyone

  • The expected salary range for this role may differ based upon the candidate. Salary presented with a job offer will be based on factors such as calibrated job level, educational background, prior work experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
