Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth and reliable data flow across systems, supporting analytics, business intelligence, and AI/ML initiatives. You will collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists, and product teams to deliver well-structured, high-quality, and accessible data assets.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Product Managers to understand data requirements and deliver scalable, custom reporting solutions.
• Develop and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and streaming systems.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, lineage, and governance across all platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data pipeline performance.
• Implement best practices for data security, compliance, and data lifecycle management.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, including orchestration and workflow automation tools.

Must-Have Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or similar roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Practical experience with Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.
• Strong Python programming skills for data processing and automation.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Amazon Redshift.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and API integrations.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, etc.).
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps principles, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Exposure to real-time data streaming tools such as Kafka or Kinesis.
• Knowledge of data governance and metadata management tools.
