About The Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our fast-paced and data-driven engineering team. In this role, the applicant will take ownership of data engineering solutions. As a client-facing professional, the selected applicant will be responsible for designing and implementing ETL pipelines, building and managing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses, and leveraging AWS services to process and store large volumes of data efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of ETL/ELT processes for data integration and transformation.
• Build and manage Data Lakes and Data Warehouses to support analytics and reporting.
• Work extensively with AWS services including Lambda, Glue, Redshift, DMS and QuickSight.
• Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide strategic solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and scalability across various data systems.
• Optimize and maintain data pipelines and processes to meet performance standards.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Extensive experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
• Experience building and managing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and SQL
• Proficiency in AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, Redshift, DMS and QuickSight.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex data engineering projects.
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience with dbt for data modelling/transformations
• Experience with reporting tools like Metabase or similar BI platforms
• Exposure to CI/CD or Infrastructure as Code.
