Data Engineer

Essential Duties:

• Collaborate with stakeholders and business leaders to design and build robust services using data pipeline tool s , ETL tools , and Snowflake d ata warehouse .

• Develop ad hoc queries, views, and materialized tables against Snowflake databases and schedule the queries using SnowSQL and Python scripts .

• Translate advanced business data, integration , and analytics problems into technical approaches that yield actionable recommendations, across multiple departments .

• C ommunicate results and educate others through visualizations, reports , and presentations .

• Perform data profiling and analysis to develop strategy and c reate applicable data models .

• Conduct code reviews ensuring adherence to best programming practices and internal procedures.

• Manage changes in the SQL queries through GitHub for proper version control and seamless collaboration .

• Collaborat e with internal partners to deliver rapid and impactful solutions that align to business strategy .
  

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent experience

• 2 + years of related e xperience

• Experience in one or more of the major cloud providers in relation to integration with Snowflake

• Experience leveraging data integration tools to build data pipeline tool s and ETL tools

• Experience with SQL, Python languages

• Experience with relational/non-relational databases

• Experience working in a high performing agile delivery model

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and produce quality results

• Preferred: Tableau, PowerBI, MyDBR, Jaspersoft , Stitch, Fivetran , Certified SnowPro Advance d

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
