NTT DATA Services currently seeks 2 Data Engineers with healthcare managed care experience to join our team working either in Irvine, CA preferred, or potential 100% remote outside of California. Work hours are PST.
Role Responsibilities-
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures and pipelines using the latest cloud-based technologies.
- Ensure our data infrastructure supports analytical tools that provide insights into business performance and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, IT, and business units to align data strategy with organizational goals.
- Develop and manage project tasks and timelines for data initiatives, prioritizing based on business impact and feasibility.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the data team.
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements for data management, including automation and system enhancements.
- Support the development and maintenance of data models that enhance business intelligence tools, improving accessibility and decision-making.
- Manage data acquisition, integration, and storage to support analytics, reporting, and operational needs.
- Automate repetitive data management tasks to enhance efficiency, reliability, and data accuracy.
- Ensure seamless integration of data across various platforms and APIs, optimizing performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues with flair.
- Support relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to ensure alignment with data strategy and business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including data privacy and security standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance data capabilities.
Required Skills/Experience-
4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence.
- 4+ years proficiency in data engineering tools and programming languages such as SQL, including multi table join and Python.
- 4+ years deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline orchestration.
- 1+ year experience with data visualization, reporting, and dashboarding tools.
- 1+ year with MS Fabric
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Preferences-
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance is a plus.
- Experience working in healthcare, health insurance, or insurance sectors is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into business strategies.
- Expertise in cloud-based data platforms SQL, Power BI, and SSRS.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex data projects on time and within scope.
- Knowledge of data governance and regulatory requirements.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($130,000-$150,000/annual). Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
