Data Engineer

About the Role

As a Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining our robust data infrastructure, enabling critical business insights. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions that fuel our innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.

• Architect and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions to ensure data integrity and accessibility.

• Implement data governance, security, and quality frameworks to maintain high data standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues and data discrepancies within the data ecosystem.

• Evaluate and integrate new data technologies and tools to enhance our data platform capabilities.

• Automate data-related processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, focusing on building and maintaining data pipelines.

• Proficiency in SQL and at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).

• Extensive experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective data services.

• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and OLAP.

• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field.

• Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Dagster).

• Familiarity with data streaming technologies and real-time analytics.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
