Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: DHA Phase 1, Lahore

Job Type: Full‑Time | Onsite

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Experience: 2–3 Years

Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field

Compensation: 200k - 300k

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with hands‑on experience in Azure, AWS, Spark, and Python to join our growing technology team in Lahore . The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing scalable data pipelines, processing large datasets, and optimizing big data workflows .

This role requires strong experience in cloud data engineering, data ingestion pipelines, and big data processing frameworks to support data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines and ETL processes for structured and unstructured data
• Build and manage data ingestion pipelines and stream processing systems
• Develop scripts and applications using Python, Spark, and SQL
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and shell scripts
• Work with big data querying tools and distributed data systems
• Implement and maintain cloud‑based data solutions on Azure or AWS
• Manage large datasets using Hadoop distributions and Azure Data Lake (HDFS)
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues with minimal supervision
• Ensure data reliability, scalability, and performance optimization
  
  
  

Required Skills

• Hands‑on experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience working with Apache Spark and big data processing frameworks
• Advanced SQL and data query optimization skills
• Experience building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases
• Experience with Hadoop distributions and Azure Data Lake (HDFS)
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Data Engineering or Cloud Data Development
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Certification or training in Data Lake HDFS, Big Data, or Cloud Data Engineering is a plus
