Data Engineer (Informatica) – 3+ Years Experience

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Data Engineer with strong Informatica experience to support the design and development of scalable data solutions across multiple client engagements.

The ideal candidate will contribute to building reliable data pipelines, implementing data quality rules, and supporting data integration initiatives within a fast-paced, project-based consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain batch and near real-time data pipelines.
• Build ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ/DEQ, CDI (IDMC).
• Implement data quality checks and validation rules.
• Support data modeling and warehousing initiatives.
• Develop ingestion pipelines using REST APIs and external sources.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL development.
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and IDQ/DEQ or CDI.
• Strong SQL and basic/intermediate Python skills.
• Experience with ETL/data pipelines.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Understanding of data quality principles.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to Kafka or streaming concepts.
• Experience with Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Basic understanding of data governance.
• Exposure to Informatica EDC / Axon.
• Familiarity with Airflow or similar tools for workflow orchestration.
