Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst & Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing and categorizing system logs, performing predictive analytics, manipulating large datasets, and presenting insights through comprehensive reports and data visualizations. This role requires a blend of data analysis, development, and reporting skills to drive actionable business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
Log Analysis & Categorization
Monitor and analyze application/system logs.
Identify patterns and anomalies within logs.
Classify logs into predefined or evolving categories based on content, severity, or relevance.
Automate the log categorization process where feasible using scripts or tools.
Data Analysis & Predictive Modeling
Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources.
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, correlations, and key metrics.
Build and validate predictive models to forecast outcomes and support strategic planning.
Apply statistical methods and machine learning algorithms for data-driven predictions.
Data Manipulation & Transformation
Write scripts or queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data.
Manipulate datasets using tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems.
Reporting & Visualization
Develop clear, concise, and interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Present analytical findings to stakeholders in a meaningful and actionable format.
Generate periodic and ad-hoc reports for business units and leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or related field.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Developer, or similar role.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, R).
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automation/scripting (e.g., Bash, Python scripting).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data storage solutions.
Understanding of DevOps practices and monitoring systems.
