Data Entry and Customer Service Specialist

  • Enter, update, and maintain data across various databases and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems with precision and efficiency
  • Manage order entry processes, ensuring timely and accurate recording of customer requests and transactions
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing clear information and resolving issues promptly
  • Conduct data collection activities, including transcription of documents and input of information into digital systems
  • Organize files, documents, and records through effective filing systems to support easy retrieval and compliance
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, generate reports, and analyze data trends for operational insights
  • Support administrative tasks such as typing correspondence, managing office supplies, and assisting with clerical duties to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

  • Proven experience with data entry tasks in an office environment or similar setting
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for creating pivot tables and managing spreadsheets
  • Excellent typing speed with high accuracy; familiarity with transcription is a plus
  • Knowledge of databases and ERP systems to efficiently manage large volumes of information
  • Basic math skills for data verification and calculations
  • Previous clerical or administrative experience including filing, data collection, and order entry processes
  • Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information with integrity
