Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team near Hicksville, New York. This is a long-term contract position that requires precision and efficiency in processing data. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately input invoice data into internal systems with a focus on precision.

• Ensure all entries are completed within daily productivity targets, managing approximately 50 invoices per day.

• Verify and cross-check numerical and text-based data for accuracy and consistency.

• Maintain organized records of entered data for easy retrieval and reference.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve data processes.

• Perform routine audits of entered data to ensure compliance with company standards.

• Utilize computer systems and software efficiently to complete data entry tasks.

• Follow established procedures and workflows for invoice processing.

• Manage time effectively to meet daily and weekly deadlines.

• Uphold confidentiality and security standards when handling sensitive information.

• Proven ability to perform accurate data entry tasks with minimal errors.
• Familiarity with numeric and text-based data entry processes.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and relevant software.
• Strong typing skills with attention to detail and speed.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage high volumes of invoices daily.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for team collaboration.
