Data Entry Intern

Position Summary:
The Data Entry Intern will support the transition from the legacy EMR system to Athena by accurately entering and transferring patient-related information. This role is critical to ensuring data integrity during the system migration and requires strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly learn new technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and transfer new patient demographic information from legacy EMR into Athena
• Move newly created appointment data into the new EMR system
• Work from assigned worklists to manage and track daily tasks
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all entered data
• Identify and escalate discrepancies or issues as needed
• Provide end-of-shift updates on completed work and progress
