Job Summary
The Data Entry / Inventory Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring compliance with New York State cannabis regulations. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Duties
- Enter and update inventory data into company databases and state-regulated ERP systems with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Manage order entry processes, ensuring timely and correct recording of stock movements and transactions
- Maintain organized filing systems for physical and digital inventory records, including documentation of movements in manufacturing, production and adjustments
- Perform data collection tasks related to inventory levels, discrepancies, and cycle counts
- Utilize Google Sheets to create pivot tables, generate reports, and analyze inventory trends for better decision-making
- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data transcription, and basic math calculations related to stock quantities
- Support inventory audits by reconciling physical counts with system records and investigating discrepancies
- Physically pulling inventory to support production processes
Skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Experience working with databases, ERP systems, or inventory management software
- Excellent data entry skills with fast typing speed and high accuracy
- Knowledge of office procedures including filing, record keeping, and clerical tasks
- Basic math skills for calculating quantities, percentages, and adjustments
- Familiarity with New York state cannabis regulations
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous office or administrative experience is preferred; training will be provided to the right candidate
- Must be able to safely lift 40 lbs

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
