Job Overview- Data Entry Operator

A Data Entry Operator in an apparel e-commerce warehouse is responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining product, inventory, and order data in warehouse management systems (WMS) and e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Data Management

• Enter new product details (SKU, size, color, fabric, brand, pricing)
• Upload product descriptions and specifications
• Update pricing and stock availability
• Maintain barcode and SKU records

2. Inventory Management

• Record incoming stock (GRN entries)
• Update stock transfers between racks/locations
• Track damaged or returned items
• Perform stock reconciliation and physical stock updates

3. Order Processing Support

• Verify order details before dispatch
• Update order status (packed, shipped, returned)
• Generate invoices and shipping labels
• Coordinate with packing and dispatch teams

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily stock reports
• Maintain Excel sheets for inventory tracking
• Generate sales and dispatch reports
• Maintain vendor and supplier records

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms like: Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify
• Basic understanding of ERP software
• Fast and accurate typing skills

Educational Qualification

• Minimum: 12th pass
• Preferred: Graduate (Commerce / Business Administration / IT)
• Certification in data entry or MS Office (optional but helpful)

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,508.51 - ₹15,000.00 per month
