Job Overview

A-Better Heat & Air Conditioning is a leading, Oklahoma-based contractor with a legacy of over 40 years in providing expert heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions. Our certified technicians specialise in a comprehensive range of services, from central air conditioning units to ductless mini-splits and indoor air quality systems. We are seeking a meticulous and highly organised Data Entry Specialist to join our dedicated administrative team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our company data, which is vital for our operational efficiency. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in their precision and wants to contribute to a well-established and respected company.

Responsibilities

* Accurately and efficiently input a high volume of data, including customer details, service records, and invoicing information, into our company database.
* Regularly review and verify data for completeness and accuracy, identifying and correcting any errors or discrepancies.
* Maintain and organise digital and physical files to ensure information is secure and easily retrievable.
* Prepare and generate routine reports and summaries from the database for management and other departments.
* Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
* Collaborate with technicians and other administrative staff to ensure a seamless flow of information across the organisation.
* Assist with other administrative tasks as required to support the operational needs of the business.

Qualifications

* Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or in a similar administrative role.
* Exceptional typing speed and accuracy, with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst also being a supportive team member.
* A high school diploma or equivalent is required; further qualifications in administration or a related field are a plus.
